Shoelace is a fast paced brand specialising in women's footwear and accessories at accessible price points. Strong visuals are a powerful asset for them online allowing customers to see the details and quality of the product pre purchase.

With a high volume of new arrivals each month, Shoelace keeps customers engaged with fresh styles. At a lower price point, customers can treat themselves more often—adding accessories that refresh their style without stretching their budget.

Shoelace is based in Athlone, with a retail shop in the town centre, but much of their business is driven through online sales. We’ve partnered with them over the past two years to develop brand guidelines tailored to their customers' needs.

The visual approach is intentionally simple—each product is shown both as a standalone image and worn by a model, as it's essential for their customers to see how the shoe looks on foot. For more casual styles, we introduced lifestyle imagery featuring jeans, tracksuits, and everyday outfits to reflect how their customer would naturally wear the products.

 

Consistent product imagery also enhances branding and ensures a clean, professional look across the website.

Campaign

A campaign is key to telling a brand story and connecting with customers. It goes beyond just showing the product—it sets a mood, conveys a lifestyle, and reflects an aspirational message that resonates with the brand. 

Unlike standard product shots, campaign images show how the shoes fit into real-life moments, trends, or occasions. This builds brand recognition and encourages customer engagement.

Over the past couple of years Shoelace has run several successful campaigns. We went beyond showing the accessories by incorporating elegant styling and thoughtfully chosen locations for each shoot. Whether it was sandals on a beach or a wedding guest in the city, each campaign captured the shoes in a way that resonated with the customer.
